The Unique Leadership of Minority Women’s Report is based on a research study by Dr Diann Rodgers-Healey. It aimed to explore the underrepresentation of women in minority groups in leadership in Australia and to what extent is diversity inclusive of minority women in Australia? Specifically the following minority groups were involved:
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women
- Women with a Disability
- Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) women
- Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex (LGBTQI) women
- Older women
- Rural, remote and regional women
This Report was launched at the Unique Leadership of Minority Women Conference and formed the basis for furthering the discussion of the leadership of minority women and how organisations can advance their valuing and inclusion.
