Published since 2000, the Leading Issues Journal features articles about innovative, pioneering ideas and achievements, and the individuals who are behind them, as well as issues and ideas raised by the leaders profiled on the Centre. It will offer the opportunity to become informed about mindsets that are challenging and that are probing existing thinking and accepted practices. By being a part of the Journal’s readership, you become a part of the Centre’s initiative to develop intellectual and leadership capital in Australia.
The Leading Issues Journal has been selected by the National Library of Australia as one that is of national significance and has therefore been included in an electronic facility called the PANDORA (Preserving and Accessing Networked Documentary Resources of Australia) Archive to ensure that Australians have access to their documentary heritage now and in the future.

The Leading Issues Journal since 2010 has been published annually.
In 2022 it was decided that the Leading Issues Journal will be published biennually.
